Now Hiring: Utilities Superintendent for the City of Comer

The hours are M - F, 7 am to 4 pm, on call 24 hours.

Qualifications: Must hold valid water and sewer license or be working towards certification. The city will support and pay for all training and certification to achieve and maintain relevant licenses

Duties: Responsible for all utility employees. Schedule daily duties, general maintenance and repairs, and day to day tasks. Locate utilities for 811 calls. Inspect wells daily, record usage and monitor flourine use. Inspect lift stations daily. Perform city building and zoning inspections. Inspect and document any repairs or installs on city water or sewer infrastructure. Purchase all materials for maintenance and new installs. Maintain water meter system, including readings, recordings, and replacing faulty meters.

Compensation: to be determined by experience and skill level.
